Pastoral Care
We feel that we should all be caring for one another. Showing love and concern is something we can all do at different levels. As disciples, we have received and experienced God's love, and are called to share this love with one another. We seek to demonstrate that we belong to each other, rejoicing when one rejoices, weeping when one weeps.”
To work this out in our day to day lives we have small groups in the form of Grow Groups and also Cluster groups, which are larger community meetings making up several small groups together. Central Pastoral Team consists of the leadership team and some members of the staff team.
During office hours there is usually one of the pastoral team available. If any emergencies arise outside office hours ring the church office and leave a message and someone will be in touch as soon as we can. If you have a financial hardship, or emergency, the Pastoral Team will try to support you and point you towards sources of on-going help. Please do not ask for donations for personal financial needs within the church community. If someone approaches you asking for donations of this kind, please consult with the Pastoral Team via the Church Office.
Pre-Marriage counselling and Marriage enhancement are available. We are also able to make recommendations and referrals for specialized counselling services where needed.
Mission support - We have an “Away team” monthly prayer meeting for our long term overseas members and also aim to provide on going support through our clusters.
