Church Life

An introduction to Clusters

Clusters are missional communities with a heart to worship God, serve one another and see the kingdom break through into the world around us. They are our primary vehicle for building community.

In a large church like Ivy Manchester, it would be easy to get lost in a crowd. Clusters provide an opportunity for people to get to know one another in groups of around 70-100 people.

Clusters are medium sized groups that provide places of belonging and vision, to bridge the gap between the small group (we call them Grow groups) and the Sunday worship services (celebration).

Clusters meet once a month in the evenings, sometimes go out to meet in other places on Sundays and also at other times for socials or special events.

We encourage everyone who attends Ivy Manchester to belong to a Cluster group and then to become part of a Grow group within the Cluster.

We currently have 4 Clusters, all with a 'growth' themed name!
